Tom Sheldon Bio

Tom Sheldon is no stranger to the computer industry. Since the late 1970s, he has worked as a computer programmer, consultant, and network administrator. He has been designing and building networks since the invention of Ethernet. Tom has written 30 books and his articles have appeared in PC World Magazine, PC Magazine, Byte Magazines, Windows NT Magazine, and Windows Pro Magazine.

He runs a computer and software testing laboratory where he does research for Microsoft, Novell, and other companies. He has been instrumental in many major network installations, including sites such as Lockheed Space Operations, and various government and educational institutions on the West Coast.

Tom is familiar to thousands of computer users who have learned about computers and Windows by watching his best-selling educational videotapes.

Tom lives with his family on the Big Sur coast of California. He enjoys mountain biking, ocean kayak fishing, and golfing.
